Strawberry Mousse Recipe

I don’t think there are many other desserts as elegant, delicious and easy to prepare as a good mousse.

Here you have a very simple recipe that will only take you 10 minutes. Creamy and airy, this strawberry moussetastes like a dream.

You will just have to process strawberries and sugar and mix with the cream cheese, vanilla extract, and liquor. Cream cheese is not usually used in a strawberry mousse recipe, but it actually adds a creamy texture that will make you crazy. Finally, whip the cream, add the strawberry creamy mixture, and whisk until blended.

You can use gelatin to stabilize de strawberry mousse and add a better structure.


  • Use the heavy cream straight from the fridge.
  • You can use powdered sugar rather than granulated sugar, which will stabilize the mousse. Add 6 tbswhen processing the strawberries and 2 tbs when whipping the cream.
  • Add a bit of lemon juice to the cream cheese for a touch of acid flavor.

Ingredients Recipe

 (3-4 servings)

  • 200 g (1 and ⅓ cups) of strawberries
  • 5 tbs ofpowdered or granulated sugar
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoonof vanilla extract
  • ½ tbs of orange liquor
  • 180 ml ( ¾ cup) of heavy cream


  1. Wash the strawberries and dice them into little pieces. Place the sugar and strawberries together in a bowl and mix until smooth. Set aside. Add the cream cheese, vanilla extract, and liquor, and use an electric mixer to whip it into soft peaks.
  2. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream and powdered sugar and blend until smooth. Use an electric mixer to shake the heavy cream with sugar until blended. Add the strawberry mixture you set aside and whisk, being careful not to overbeat, so don’t whisk it for a long time. It will firm up once cooled.
  3. Once you have this mixture soft and ready, use small containers to dive the strawberry mousse and place them in the fridge for about 60 minutes before serving and up to 3 days.
  4. The strawberry mousse can be served with chocolate cake, brownie or your favorite chocolate recipe. Once you prepare it, break it into small pieces and place them in the bottom of 4 glass bowls. Top with the strawberry mousse. You can add fresh sliced strawberries, fresh mint, white chocolate, or chocolate cover if you want. Enjoy!
