3 Summer Recipes with Strawberries

Summertime is here and our body, especially during the hottest days, is asking for light and tasty recipes that help us stay hydrated without a loss in quality or taste. We have selected three special summer recipes with strawberries as the main ingredient.

Light strawberry and vanilla mousse

The first recipe is a super lightstrawberry-basedoption: A light and low fat yogurt mousse, lemon juice, cane sugar and lots of strawberries. Ideal as a dessert or as a snack foradults and children. To prepare this mousse, and once you’ve beat the whites of the eggs along with the icing sugar until you have a thick and frothy cream, you just add the strawberries (previously washed and cut into slices), along with the sugar cane and lemon juice. Stir for 5 minutes before adding the yogurt to the egg whites with strawberries and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. To serve, decorate with fresh mint leaves. Bon appétit!

Raspberry and strawberry Fresón de Palos salad

Who says that recipes with strawberries should always be sweet? This time we propose you a perfect solution for a light dinner or summer supper. This is a very fresh, juicy and tasty salad with a mix of lettuces (rocket and gentilina) that match perfectly with the freshness and sweetness of strawberries, raspberries and a bit of lime citrus, without forgetting the virtues of the slightly spicy sheep’s cheese. In addition, the presence of hard boiled eggs among the ingredients, make this salad a unique, complete and healthy dish option.

Ingredientsfor 4 people:

  • 10 Fresón de Palos strawberries
  • 6 raspberries
  • 1 gentilinalettuceheart
  • 50 gr of rocket salad
  • 10 large olives (Kalamatatype)
  • 60 gr of seep’scheese
  • 1 lime
  • 30 gr of nutsorpeanuts
  • 12 cherrytomatoes
  • 4 boiledeggs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil


We make an ending here with a simple but no less rich recipe: a cool strawberry milkshake. A refreshing drink perfect for summer but also, thanksto the long period in which you have our Fresón de Palos strawberries in supermarkets, you can also have it until December. Add to the ingredients indicated a good high-speed blender and this milkshake will be a piece of cake.
